I feel one of the best things you can do as a business is distinguish your brand from the competition. One way to accomplish this is by creating an eye catching logo, so this week I set out to design one. The best route would have been to have a professional create the logo, but as a new business often time the budget is earmarked for other areas.
My initial search online yielded little usable content. I found many sites offering free logo creation engines, but the graphics were substandard and the design process was cumbersome. I eventually turned to my photo editing software and implemented some custom brushes. One aspect that was important to me was the color scheme of the logo, and I again turned to the web for help in that area. One of the first sites I came across was Color Scheme Designer. The simplicity of the interface along with the flexibility was exactly what I was looking for. No doubt this tool will be put to use in the future for various applications and design work.
For a look at the new logo you can head over the the walstonphoto website, and if you are in need of a color scheme generator then I suggest Color Scheme Designer.
