Wedding regret #3 is really an extension of regret #1. As I mentioned previously it is important to minimize all the distractions and decision-making the day of the wedding. I would imagine there is nothing more annoying than being disrupted from a lovely conversation with your guests to answer a vendor question regarding what time you plan to cut the cake.
Even among small intimate weddings it is important to give some time to the guests, and that can add up very quickly. Include all the activities that are going on, and before you know it the evening is over. Take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy your guests. Many will have great advice and tips on how to maintain a lasting and loving relationship. Most will be very touched that you took the time to converse with them, and it just might be the highlight of their week.
