Companies are always on the lookout for money-making opportunities. Often these opportunities are presented in the form of crossover business, where the assets can be leveraged in other markets and industries to provide additional revenue streams. Many photographers accomplish this by providing classes, or editing plugins in addition to their portrait work.
Funeral homes are also on the lookout for additional revenue streams, and they are zeroing in on your wedding budget. Now you can plan to hold your ultimate day at the Funeral Home. I don’t know about you, but I find this just a bit on the creepy side. I realize the funeral homes are lavish and provide the finest in amenities, but I’m thinking the cross-marketing is just not going to work so well here. Let me know in the comments what you think. Is this something that has some traction and will catch on, or will it find limited acceptance?
